Roberta Faye Henderson, 83, Fort Gibson, OK, was born on January 21, 1933, in Shattuck, OK, to Jerry and Opal Knowles of Arnett, OK. She passed away on February 16, 2016, in Tulsa. She met her future husband, Ed Henderson, while attending Oklahoma A&M University; they were married for 60 years. Roberta taught home economics at Ft. Gibson High School from 1971 to 1991 when she retired. She enjoyed attending her children’s livestock shows and was an avid OSU football and baseball fan. Robert was preceded in death by her parents and three siblings, Frank, Jack, and Gayle. Her husband, Ed, survives her as to her children, Larry, Jerry (Susan), Terry (Beth), and Rhonda (Jeff). She is also survived by nine grandchildren.
