Adalene "Micki" Paulin

Adalene (Micki) Paulin, 91, was born on January 31, 1926 in Carlisle, KY, to Catesby James and Gertrude (Waugh) Cartmill. She passed away in Stillwater on May 1, 2017. Following graduation from high school, she attended Ashland Business College in Ashland, KY, and graduated with an accounting degree in 1944. She and Ed Paulin were married on June 16, 1949. Ed predeceased her in 2008. Micki and Ed moved to Stillwater in 1971, and Micki began working for OSU’s School of Journalism and Broadcasting from which she retired in 1988. She was involved in leadership positions with several organizations including Jayceettes, Lahoma, Delta Theta Tau, and she served as a representative to the Silver Haired Legislature for four years. She also volunteered at Stillwater Medical Center and Project Heart. In addition to her husband, Micki was predeceased by her parents, four brothers, and two sisters. She is survived by her sister Gladys Gifford and a number of nieces and nephews.
