Jeanne Bacon, 87, was born to Daniel and Marium Duncan in Pawhuska, OK, on September 17, 1933, and passed away on March 28, 2021.  At an early age, her family moved to Bartlesville, OK, where she met her future husband, Charles Bacon in high school.  Jeanne began college at the University of Oklahoma and transferred to Oklahoma State after her freshman year.  She graduated from OSU with a degree in drama and education.  She and Charles were married in June 1955, shortly after which he joined the US Army.  They were stationed in Okinawa for several years.  After completing his military service, Charles undertook several degrees in electrical engineering, both at Oklahoma State University and Michigan State University.  Jeanne was active in P.E.O, Sunday School, and played bridge and golfed.  She also performed in community theatrical productions.  She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.  She is survived by two children, Stephen Bacon, Oklahoma City, and Jan Bacon Fleming (Bill) of Norman, in addition to four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
